A New Fitness Center Opening in SouthPark
Motion, a full-service health and fitness facility, is set to open in SouthPark with a range of amenities and services.
One-Stop Fitness and Wellness
Motion aims to provide a unique fitness experience by offering everything under one roof. While it's common to find gyms in Charlotte, it's not as easy to find a place where you can also recover. Motion aims to change that by combining exercise and wellness services in a single location.
The 25,000-square-foot facility will feature an open gym, personal training, group fitness classes, and yoga. Additionally, Motion will house a range of wellness services, including an in-house chiropractor, physical therapy, and massage therapy.
The studio will also offer two distinctive fitness programs: one for individuals with autism and another called 'Psych in Motion,' which combines mental health services with running therapy and personal training. Giddy Goat, the popular coffee shop and roastery, will have a location inside for coffee and smoothies. Motion will also have its own child-care center and content creation studio.
Unique Amenities
Motion stands out with its unique amenities and offerings. It plans to include a cold plunge and sauna for contrast therapy, as well as a content and podcast studio.
The studio's membership options start at $109 per month for gym access only, with the option to add unlimited classes for $189 per month. Motion will also be opening a Giddy Goat coffee shop in Spring 2024 and considering the addition of pickleball courts.
Located at 2101 Rexford Road in a former World Gym space, Motion SouthPark offers convenient access to residents and is open 7 days a week.
