While these reports have mainly come from Reddit, Engadget has also noted the occurrence of the same crack on its review unit. Users claim that they haven't mishandled the devices, so it remains unclear what is causing the problem and whether it affects the performance of the Vision Pro.

WIRED reached out to Apple for a comment on the issue but has not received a response yet. The Vision Pro, made with premium materials such as aluminum and glass, is known to be heavy and less durable. However, its actual durability and ability to handle stress remain unknown.

Apple Launches Sports App for iPhone

Hamilton Unveils Dune-Inspired Timepieces

Hamilton, the Swiss luxury watchmaker, has revealed two new timepieces inspired by the upcoming Dune sequel directed by Denis Villeneuve. These watches feature a rugged matte black exterior with bright blue numbers and hands, resembling the color of the eyes of the Fremens from the Dune universe. The case design is based on Hamilton's Ventura model from the 1950s.

The Ventura XXL Bright watch is priced at $1,810 and limited to 3,000 units, while the Ventura Edge Dune watch costs $2,553 and is limited to 2,000 pieces. These limited-edition watches coincide with the release of Dune: Part Two on March 1.
