Emily Fox signs for Arsenal

Arsenal have officially signed United States international defender Emily Fox on a permanent transfer.

Introduction

Arsenal is pleased to announce the signing of Emily Fox, the United States international defender. The 25-year-old right-back joins the club on a permanent transfer after her stint with North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League. She made 19 appearances for the team since joining in January 2023.

Before her time with North Carolina Courage, Emily played for Racing Louisville in her first two professional seasons. She had also represented North Carolina Tar Heels at the college level.

International Career

Emily made her senior debut for the United States national team in 2018 and has earned 39 caps for her country. She was part of the squads that clinched victory in the CONCACAF Women’s Championship in 2022 and the SheBelieves Cup in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, Emily represented the USA in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, starting in all four of their matches.

Her impressive performances in these competitions have showcased her talents and established her as a valuable asset for her national team.
