Caroline Manzo Alleges Sexual Harassment and Assault

Former 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Caroline Manzo has filed a lawsuit against the Bravo network, claiming sexual harassment and assault by fellow cast member Brandi Glanville. In court documents obtained by Fox News, Manzo stated that Glanville forcibly fondled her vagina and breasts and pushed her face into her neck in an attempt to kiss her.

The alleged incident took place while filming 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' in Morocco. According to the court documents, Glanville followed Manzo into the bathroom, pinned her against the door, and prevented her from escaping. Manzo called for help, but no one intervened.

Manzo revealed that the encounter triggered traumatic memories of her past sexual assaults, causing her to relive the trauma. She accused the Bravo network of regularly encouraging cast members to drink excessively, which she believes contributes to incidents of sexual harassment.

Bravo Network Accused of Prioritizing Ratings over Cast Safety

In the lawsuit, Manzo alleged that the Bravo network and its affiliated companies, including Forest Productions, Warner Bros. Entertainment, NBCUniversal Media, Shed Media, and Peacock TV, prioritize ratings over the safety of their cast members. She claimed that producers ply the cast with alcohol to make them intoxicated and then allow them to sexually harass each other for the sake of higher ratings.

According to the court documents, Manzo stated that Glanville was encouraged to become intoxicated on set to engage in outrageous and harassing acts. The lawsuit aims to hold the network accountable for its actions and prevent further exploitation of cast members for ratings and profits.

It is important to note that Glanville is not named as a defendant in the lawsuit.

Brandi Glanville Responds to Allegations

Brandi Glanville, the accused cast member, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to deflect blame onto the show's producers. She stated that she was innocent and only did what the producers asked of her. Glanville criticized the encouragement of alcohol consumption on set, even in a country where drinking during the day is illegal.

In 2023, Glanville and Manzo left the filming of 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' season four early. Sources close to the show reported that Glanville repeatedly gave unwanted kisses to Manzo, crossing physical boundaries. Glanville became aware of Manzo's discomfort and apologized the following morning via text.

As of now, the release date for season four of 'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' has not been announced. The Bravo network and representatives for Manzo and Glanville have declined to comment on the matter.
