Israeli Forces Kill Palestinians in Jenin

Four Palestinians, including an 8-year-old boy and a 15-year-old male, were killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.

The Palestinian health ministry confirmed the deaths of Adam Samer Al-Ghoul (8 years old) and Basil Suleiman Abu Al-Wafa (15 years old), who were shot dead by occupation forces.

The Islamist movement Hamas claimed that Al-Wafa was a member, but this has not been independently verified.

Video Circulates on Social Media

An unverified video circulating on social media appears to show the 8-year-old boy being shot, although it does not clearly show who fired the shot.

The Israeli military responded to the video by stating that during a military operation in the Jenin Camp, suspects threw explosive devices towards IDF soldiers, and the soldiers responded with live fire.

The identity of the person who fired the fatal shot remains unclear.

The raid into the Jenin camp, which is known for its militant activity, left behind piles of rubble and damaged houses.

Palestinians Muhammad Jamal Zubaidi and Wissam Ziad Hanoun were also killed by Israeli forces during the operation.

The Israeli army stated that the operation was conducted as part of counterterrorism activity and that Zubaidi was a senior Islamic Jihad operative.
