Galaxy S24 Breaks Pre-Order Records in South Korea

Samsung's latest smartphone series, the Galaxy S24, has received a massive response in its pre-order phase. In South Korea alone, it has garnered 1.21 million pre-orders in just one week, surpassing the pre-order numbers of the Galaxy Note 10 series.

The Galaxy S24 has been receiving an average of 173,000 pre-orders per day, which is significantly higher than the pre-orders received by the Galaxy Note 10. This makes it the highest number of pre-orders ever received for Samsung's high-end Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series.

Due to the overwhelming demand, Samsung has extended the pre-order period from January 31 to February 8, offering various benefits including a free storage upgrade for certain models.

India and Other Markets Also See High Pre-Order Numbers

The Galaxy S24 series has also broken pre-booking records in India, with over 250,000 pre-orders within just three days. This surpasses the pre-order numbers of the previous Galaxy S23 series, which took three weeks to reach the same number of pre-orders.

In other markets, Samsung has also seen improved pre-order figures for the Galaxy S24 series, indicating its popularity and demand worldwide.

Galaxy S24 Pricing and Color Options in South Korea

In South Korea, the Galaxy S24 is available in four colors: Amber Yellow, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Onyx Black. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has four colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow.

The pricing for the Galaxy S24 starts at KRW 1,155,000 for the 256GB version and goes up to KRW 1,698,400 for the 256GB version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung has also introduced exclusive color variants for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ in Jade Green, Sandstone Orange, and Sapphire Blue, and for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in Titanium Blue, Titanium Green, and Titanium Orange.
