Julia Stiles Joins 'Saturday Night Live'
Actress Julia Stiles proved she still has her impressive dance skills when she made a surprise appearance on the most recent episode of 'Saturday Night Live'. Stiles joined the show during a 'Weekend Update' sketch to assist 'SNL' cast member Chloe Fineman with a demonstration for an 'intimate' holiday gift.
During the sketch, Fineman explained that the perfect holiday gift this year is the dance that Julia Stiles performs at the end of the 2001 movie 'Save the Last Dance'. Fineman hilariously narrated the film's plot while putting her own spin on the iconic routine that Stiles' character, Sara, performs during her Juilliard audition. Towards the end of the sketch, Stiles made her appearance in the same black leotard she wore in the movie to help Fineman conclude their choreography.
The audience erupted in cheers as Stiles and Fineman finished their routine with a fist pump. Stiles rose to fame for her role in 'Save the Last Dance', alongside Kerry Washington and Sean Patrick Thomas. The movie follows Stiles' character, Sara, as she overcomes a family tragedy, moves to the south side of Chicago, and pursues her passion for dance.

This marked Julia Stiles' first appearance on 'Saturday Night Live' since her hosting debut in 2001 with musical guest Aerosmith. Her surprise cameo delighted fans who were thrilled to see her back on the long-running sketch show.
The episode was hosted by 'Ferrari' star Adam Driver, with Olivia Rodrigo as the musical guest. The final episode of 2023, set to be hosted by Kate McKinnon alongside musical guest Billie Eilish, is highly anticipated.
