Kuznetsov's Temporary Absence from the Capitals

Evgeny Kuznetsov, forward for the Washington Capitals, will be stepping away from the team for an undisclosed amount of time as he seeks assistance from the NHL/NHPA Player Assistance Program. This program is designed to support players who may be dealing with personal or emotional issues, providing them with the necessary resources and help.

During his absence, Kuznetsov will not be available to play or practice with the Capitals. Instead, he will focus on receiving the care and support he needs to address any challenges he may be facing.

Once Kuznetsov has been cleared by the program administrators and is deemed ready to return to on-ice competition, he will rejoin the Capitals and resume his regular duties as a player.
