The Launch of Pharrell's Collection

Pharrell Williams's first Louis Vuitton men's collection has finally hit stores worldwide. The collection gained immense popularity with more than a billion views across various social media platforms. Its success was also evident through the star-studded show held in Paris last summer, which attracted 1,750 guests to the Pont Neuf bridge.

The collection includes a wide range of products such as ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear, and small leather goods. Some of the highlights include the Speedy BandouliƩre bag, Damier denim jacket and jeans, and the Varsity jacket. Prices start at $550 and go up to $1 million for the made-to-order Millionaire Speedy bag that went viral last year.

Global Retail Launch and Pop-ups

Louis Vuitton is making its Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection available not only in its own stores but also through stand-alone pop-ups in Paris, South Korea, and New York. These pop-ups aim to reach new audiences and offer customers a chance to experience the collection outside traditional retail spaces.

Additionally, Louis Vuitton will partner with retailers including Harrods and Selfridges in the UK to further expand its reach. This global push is part of the brand's strategy to drive majority sales through its own direct channels and increase control over distribution.

Louis Vuitton Takes over Selfridges's Corner Shop

Selfridges's Corner Shop in London will host a special pop-up featuring Louis Vuitton's collection. The pop-up aims to recreate the atmosphere of Pharrell's debut show, complete with the show's soundtrack. Selfridges's director of menswear and womenswear, Bosse Myhr, is excited about the collaboration, highlighting Pharrell's ability to connect with diverse communities.

The space will be transformed with a yellow wall and the word 'Lovers' to represent warmth and welcome. The collection's iconic Speedy bag, reinterpreted by Williams, will be a major highlight. With its availability only through private order and a $1 million price tag, the bag has drawn both criticism and fascination from consumers.
