Meet Rex and Wednesday: Two Pets Available for Adoption at Jackson County Animal Shelter
The Jackson County Animal Shelter in Jackson, MI has a variety of pets available for adoption. Meet Rex, a 2-year-old American Staffordshire mix, and Wednesday, a 12-year-old long hair calico cat, who are both looking for their forever homes.
Rex: A Muscular and Energetic Walking Buddy
Rex is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire mix who was surrendered by his owner. He has a tan and white coat with blue eyes and four white paws. Rex is a happy and fit guy who is ready to be someone's walking buddy.
He is highly treat motivated and eager to please. It won't take much time to teach him basic commands and how to walk nicely on a leash. He is always excited to come out of the kennel and spend time with people.
Wednesday: An Elegant and Friendly Calico Cat
Wednesday is a 12-year-old long hair calico cat who came to the shelter as a stray. She had a flea issue that has been resolved and her hair coat is growing back.
Despite her rough start, Wednesday is friendly and enjoys treats and petting. This elegant looking girl has plenty of good years left and is looking for a new family to spend them with.
