Setback for Isabella

Michael Strahan, the host of 'Good Morning America,' shared that his 19-year-old daughter Isabella faced a setback in her fight against brain cancer. He revealed that she was recently hospitalized due to a fever.

Strahan explained that the past three days have been challenging for Isabella as her fever comes and goes. He had to take her to the hospital, and although he initially expected her to return home in a few hours, she has remained there for three days. Strahan expressed hope that she would be discharged soon.

Isabella was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor called medulloblastoma in October. She and Strahan appeared on 'Good Morning America' in January to share the news of her diagnosis.

Chemo Journey

Isabella, who is documenting her cancer journey on YouTube, recently started chemotherapy at Duke Children's Hospital in North Carolina. In a video uploaded to her channel, she opened up about the challenges of her first round of chemo.

She described it as one of the worst experiences of her life and expressed surprise at how difficult it was. Isabella mentioned that the first week in the hospital was particularly tough. Despite the difficulties, she remains determined and resilient.

Strahan shared that Isabella has been receiving immense support from both friends and strangers. He expressed gratitude for the positive messages they have received, as it has helped his daughter stay in a positive mindset throughout her treatment.

Words of Encouragement

Strahan acknowledged the difficulty of seeing his daughter go through cancer treatment but emphasized her strength and resilience. Isabella's twin sister, Sophia, attends Duke University, and she has been by Isabella's side throughout the process.

The Strahan family has received an outpouring of support from their personal circle as well as from people they don't know. Strangers reaching out and expressing gratitude for Isabella's openness has had a positive impact on her. Strahan thanked everyone for their support during this challenging time.
