Lawsuit Alleges Sexual Assault by Tommy Lee

A new civil lawsuit has been filed against Tommy Lee, the drummer of Mötley Crüe, by an unnamed woman referred to as Jane Doe. The woman accuses Lee of forcibly groping, kissing, and penetrating her with his fingers, as well as attempting to force her to perform oral copulation. According to the lawsuit, the incident took place on board a helicopter in 2003. The woman thought she was going on a sightseeing tour but ended up flying with Lee from San Diego to Los Angeles.

The lawsuit states that after inviting the woman to the cockpit of the helicopter, Lee allegedly assaulted her. The woman claims that she was trapped and had little mobility to leave the cockpit. Additionally, she alleges that both Lee and pilot David Martz consumed alcohol and drugs during the flight.

Defendants Named in the Lawsuit

The lawsuit names several defendants, including Mayhem Touring, Tommy Lee Inc, A Natural High Helicopters, and Social Helicopters. As of now, none of the defendants have commented on the allegations. The woman is seeking damages for the incident. She explains that she did not report it previously because she believed the police would not take her case seriously and that it was an isolated event. However, she now believes that both Martz and Lee had a history of engaging in inappropriate and illegal behavior on Martz's helicopter.

It is worth noting that Martz passed away in 2015 in a plane crash. Back in 2009, he was detained for suspected flying under the influence, although a sobriety test yielded inconclusive results. Martz had his pilot's license revoked three times, including one instance where he engaged in oral sex with an adult film star while operating a helicopter.

Tommy Lee's Controversial Past

This is not the first time Tommy Lee has faced legal troubles. In 1998, he was sentenced to six months in jail for physically assaulting his then-wife, Pamela Anderson. Lee's history of violent behavior has been a cause for concern and scrutiny.

Recently, Mötley Crüe completed a joint headline tour with Def Leppard. However, a Guardian review described Mötley Crüe's set as 'crass and limp'. The allegations against Lee are likely to have a significant impact on his reputation and the future of the band.
