New Connections Revealed
Recent set photos from Deadpool 3 have provided clues about the film's ties to Loki and the Fantastic Four. One image shows an actor dressed as a TVA Minute Man from Loki, while another photo features the X-Men villain Toad riding in the Fantastic Four's Fantasticar with an undisclosed character. These images suggest that Deadpool 3 will explore connections between the MCU, the X-Men, and other Marvel properties.
These new set photos come on the heels of previous leaks that revealed Sabretooth's involvement in the film, as well as a violent action scene featuring Wolverine, Deadpool, and Sabretooth. It appears that Deadpool 3 will take Wade Wilson on a multiversal adventure, interacting with various characters from different Marvel universes.
Dogpool's Official Image
One image from Deadpool 3 did not come from a leaked set photo, but was shared by Dogpool, Deadpool's furry co-star. The official image shows Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, unmasked and in makeup, with Dogpool affectionately licking his face. While Dogpool's role in the film is still unknown, it is believed that he will be one of many different versions of Deadpool that appear in the movie.
Deadpool 3 is part of a larger trend in the MCU of exploring the Multiverse, alongside films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as well as the Disney+ series Loki. The movie is rumored to feature interactions between Deadpool and characters from 20th Century Fox's X-Men films, including X-23, Elektra, and Wolverine.
Returning Cast Members and Release Date
In addition to Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Deadpool 3 will see the return of several cast members from the previous films, including Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Morena Baccarin as Vanessa.
