Sources: Commanders hire Quinn as new coach

The Washington Commanders have hired Dan Quinn as their new head coach, according to sources. Quinn previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys.

Quinn brings a wealth of experience to the Commanders, having previously served as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 2015 to 2020. During his tenure with the Falcons, he led the team to an appearance in Super Bowl LI.

The Commanders will hope that Quinn can turn their fortunes around, as they finished the 2021 season with a record of 7-10 and failed to make the playoffs.

Mayfield, NFC takes early Pro Bowl Games lead

In the annual Pro Bowl Games, the NFC team, led by quarterback Baker Mayfield, took an early lead against the AFC team. Mayfield threw two touchdown passes in the first quarter to give the NFC a 14-0 lead.

The Pro Bowl Games is an exhibition game that features the top players from the NFL. It is held annually before the Super Bowl and serves as a celebration of the best talent in the league.

Mayfield's performance in the Pro Bowl Games further solidifies his status as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, and he will look to carry this momentum into the upcoming season.
