Larkin Placed on Injured Reserve

Detroit Red Wings' Dylan Larkin has been placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. The injury occurred during a game against the Ottawa Senators. Larkin left the game after a hit from Mathieu Joseph but was able to skate off the ice with assistance. There is currently no timeframe for his return.

Larkin is an essential player for the Red Wings, with 25 points this season. His absence will be felt by the team.

In addition to Larkin, J.T. Compher and Klim Kostin have also been placed on injured reserve. The Red Wings have recalled Zach Aston-Reese, Jonatan Berggren, and Austin Czarnik from the AHL.

Hedman's Game-Time Decision

Victor Hedman of the Tampa Bay Lightning missed practice due to an undisclosed injury. His availability for the game against the Vancouver Canucks is still uncertain.

Hedman has been a key player for the Lightning this season, with 27 points and leading the team in time on ice per game. The team hopes he will be able to play.

On a positive note, forward Steven Stamkos is expected to return after missing a game with an illness. Stamkos has 26 points this season.

Tarasov Returns to Blue Jackets

Daniil Tarasov has been recalled from his conditioning assignment with the AHL's Cleveland. Tarasov missed the first 25 games of the season due to a knee injury.

Tarasov has a record of 4-13-1 in his NHL career, with a 3.66 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage. His return will provide depth to the Columbus Blue Jackets' goaltending.

Goalie Jet Greaves has been assigned to Cleveland after setting a franchise record for most saves in his NHL debut. Greaves made 41 saves in a 5-2 win against the St. Louis Blues.

Mark Kastelic of the Ottawa Senators participated in full practice for the first time since sustaining a high ankle sprain. He may return during the team's upcoming road trip.

Pittsburgh Penguins have added Jesse Puljujarvi to their roster on a free agent tryout. Puljujarvi, who had hip surgery in the offseason, will be given an opportunity to make the team.

Bryan Rust of the Penguins is week-to-week with an upper-body injury. Defensemen Pierre-Olivier Joseph and Chad Ruhwedel have returned from injuries and participated in practice.
