Roger Federer hopes Nadal and Djokovic don't retire soon
Roger Federer expresses his desire to see Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic continue their tennis careers
Federer wants Nadal and Djokovic to continue playing
Roger Federer, who retired last year after winning 20 Grand Slam titles, has stated that he doesn't want to see Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic retire anytime soon.
Federer, who dominated tennis in the 2000s, winning 16 Grand Slam titles between 2003 and 2010, expressed his admiration for his former rivals and their contributions to the sport.
He hopes that Nadal can make a strong comeback next year and that Djokovic can continue playing for as long as he wants, as he believes it is beneficial for the game to have these top players still competing.
Djokovic's recent success and Nadal's anticipated return
Novak Djokovic, who recently won his 24th Grand Slam title at the US Open, has shown no signs of slowing down. He won the Australian Open, French Open, and reached the Wimbledon final this year.
On the other hand, Rafael Nadal underwent a hip operation this year and has been out of action since his early exit from the Australian Open. However, Australian Open chief executive Craig Tiley confirmed that Nadal will be back for the first Grand Slam of 2024.
Despite their different circumstances, both Djokovic and Nadal are still expected to make significant contributions to the tennis world in the coming years.
