Scottie Scheffler's Impressive Round

Scottie Scheffler made two eagles in his round of 7-under 65, giving him a three-shot lead in the Hero World Challenge. He has been a consistent contender in this tournament and has been runner-up to Viktor Hovland for the past two years.

Scheffler was in good position throughout his round but dropped a shot on the 18th hole, finishing with a three-shot lead over Matt Fitzpatrick, who also shot a 65.

Tiger Woods' Recovery

Tiger Woods, who is hosting the tournament, is currently recovering from another surgery that kept him out of golf for nearly eight months. Despite being out of contention, Woods is pleased with how his body has been recovering each day of the tournament.

He expressed his surprise at how well he has felt and emphasized that his issue is not his game but rather his physical health. Woods is hopeful that he will continue to recover and be able to play in more tournaments.

Mixed Performance for Woods

Woods had a mixed performance in the tournament. He started with two bogeys but rallied with four birdies on the front nine. However, he struggled on the par 5s on the back nine, missing a birdie putt inside 3 feet on the 15th hole.

Despite some missed opportunities, Woods is most pleased with his overall health and the ability to play a 72-hole tournament for the first time since February.
