REVOLT Aims to Continue Its Mission

REVOLT, the Black music television company, has released a statement on Instagram stating that it aims to continue its mission of creating meaningful content for the culture.

The statement acknowledges that while Mr. Combs has had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, his decision to step down ensures that REVOLT remains focused on amplifying the voices of all Black people and advancing the culture.

The Success and Vision of REVOLT

Founded in 2013, REVOLT is currently home to several popular music podcasts. In a recent interview with Billboard, Diddy spoke about his goal for REVOLT to become not just the biggest Black-owned network, but the biggest media company overall.

Diddy emphasizes the need for Black individuals to take control and gain power in the media industry. He named his network REVOLT because he believes in reclaiming the quality of life and recognizing the value and information within the Black community.

Recent Sexual Assault Lawsuits

Cassie Ventura, Diddy's ex-girlfriend, recently filed a sexual assault lawsuit against him, alleging 'episodes of horrific abuse' including rape. The lawsuit was settled amicably and Cassie expressed her gratitude for the support she received.

Additionally, two more women filed sexual abuse lawsuits against Combs, both stemming from incidents in the '90s. These lawsuits were filed on the eve of the expiration of the Adult Survivors Act, allowing victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to file civil action suits.
