Soap star Kimberlin Brown bid farewell to her infamous character Sheila Carter in the latest episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. On Monday's episode, Sheila met her demise at the hands of Steffy Forrester, played by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood.
Sheila Carter, known for her villainous actions, first graced the screens in 1990 on The Young and the Restless. Two years later, she made her way to The Bold and the Beautiful, where she continued to cause chaos throughout the years.
A Bittersweet Moment
In an interview with TV Insider, Kimberlin Brown shared her mixed feelings about her character's demise. While acknowledging the tough spot she was in, Brown expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to portray Sheila for over 35 years.
"I'm happy it's Steffy who took Sheila down," Brown said. "But I wish no one had to take her down. Playing Sheila has been my happy place, and I consider myself lucky to have had such a successful run."
Accomplished Career
Kimberlin Brown's talent extended beyond the soap opera world. Throughout her career, she made appearances on various other soaps, including Another World, Port Charles, One Life to Live, All My Children, The Bay, and General Hospital.
In addition to her soap opera roles, Brown also had notable appearances in TV shows like Diagnosis Murder, Six Feet Under, and Dragnet. However, it was her portrayal of Sheila Carter on the CBS sudsers that earned her widespread recognition and a dedicated fanbase.
