Joe Alwyn Shares Rare Instagram Photos

Taylor Swift’s ex Joe Alwyn posted a series of rare Instagram photos as the superstar gears up for the release of her next album. The British actor uploaded a carousel of images that led with a shot of him taking a mirror selfie in the woods with a film camera. He also posted photos of himself sharing a drink with friends and an adorable canine companion, plus snaps of the ocean, an empty casino, and a Los Angeles landscape. Alwyn rounded out the collection with what appears to be a photo of himself as a child.

Swifties soon theorized that the name of the LP is a savage nod to the group chat Alwyn shared with his pals Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott. In 2022, Alwyn and Mescal, 28, told Variety that they were part of a boys-only group chat called “The Tortured Man Club,” created by Scott, 47.

Speculation over New Album

Swift, 34, split from Alwyn in the spring of 2023 after six years together. She said in her acceptance speech for best pop vocal album for “Midnights” that she had been keeping the project under wraps for two years — a timeframe that overlaps with her and Alwyn’s relationship.

Swifties have theorized that the name of the singer’s next LP is a savage nod to the group chat Alwyn shared with his pals Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott. Many fans are excited about the potential tea that Swift may spill about her time with Alwyn on the album.

Alwyn's Silence Breaks

The “Harriet” star — whose last Instagram post was made in September 2023 — left no caption and also disabled comments on his latest upload on the social media app. Alwyn has not been publicly linked to anyone new since dating Swift. Meanwhile, the Grammy winner has moved on with NFL player Travis Kelce, who just won this year’s Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. The two went public in September 2023.

Despite what Swift has in store for listeners on “The Tortured Poets Department,” a source previously told Page Six that the former couple’s breakup 'wasn’t dramatic.'
