Tesla Appeals for License Plates Directly from Manufacturer

Tesla Sweden is disputing all claims made by the Swedish Transport Agency regarding missing license plates for new cars expected for delivery to customers. In response, Tesla Sweden has appealed to the Court of Appeal, requesting to obtain license plates directly from the manufacturer.

The Swedish Transport Agency, on the other hand, has appealed the interim decision made by the Norrköping District Court, which directed them to hand over license plates to Tesla or face a hefty fine of one million kroner. With the appeals court withdrawing the temporary injunction, Tesla is now dependent on the Swedish postal service, Postnord.

Despite the setback, Tesla was granted permission by the Solna District Court to collect new vehicle license plates from Postnord's Danderyd facility. This particular court is overseeing Tesla Sweden's lawsuit against Postnord.

Support Grows for IF Metall's Strike Against Tesla

IF Metall, a Swedish union, has gained significant support from other trade unions in the country for its strike against Tesla. The union is now appealing to other countries to join the strike as well.

This strike comes after the United Auto Workers (UAW) union in the United States successfully held a strike against Detroit's Big 3 automakers and now has its sights set on Tesla. Denmark and Norway have also expressed their support for IF Metall's strike against the electric car company.

The solidarity shown by these trade unions highlights the growing tension between Tesla and labor organizations, as they fight for better working conditions and workers' rights.
