After ending his sponsorship deal with Nike, Tiger Woods has revealed his new active lifestyle brand named 'Sun Day Red'. The 15-time major winner made the announcement ahead of the Genesis Invitational, where he will make his 2024 PGA debut as a tournament host. Woods explained that the brand is an important part of transitioning into this phase of his life, adding that he is proud of the product and brand.

The clothing line features hoodies, polos, outerwear, and hats. The name 'Sun Day Red' is inspired by Woods' iconic final-round outfits, which were influenced by his mother, who believed red was his power color. The brand's logo includes a tiger stretched across the three words, with 15 stripes representing each of Woods' major championships.

Sun Day Red will be a standalone brand with its own headquarters, designers, and staff, although it is part of TaylorMade Golf. The brand plans to expand beyond men's golf apparel, including women's and kids' clothing. Footwear will also be part of the brand, with plans to launch a golf shoe followed by lifestyle footwear.

Growing partnership between Woods and TaylorMade

Tiger Woods has been playing with TaylorMade clubs since 2017 and signed a sponsorship deal with the equipment company. The partnership between Woods and TaylorMade extended last year with the company's investment in PopStroke, a putting and dining venue co-owned by Woods.

The first apparel line of Sun Day Red is set to launch in the United States and Canada on May 1, while Woods will begin wearing the brand's apparel at the upcoming PGA Tour event at Riviera Country Club.

Woods' goal is to play in at least one tournament per month during the major season, and he is expected to wear Sun Day Red apparel throughout the season.

Future plans for Sun Day Red

Sun Day Red aims to create a wide range of lifestyle clothing beyond golf, indicating its plans to include women's and kids' apparel. They also plan to launch footwear, starting with a golf shoe and expanding into lifestyle footwear.

The brand is setting a goal to have footwear available in the market by early next year, with the possibility of Tiger Woods wearing it during the spring or summer.
