Travis Kelce Confirms He Will Not Attend the Grammys to Focus on Super Bowl
Travis Kelce has confirmed that he will not be attending the Grammys to support Taylor Swift, as he needs to focus on the upcoming Super Bowl.
Kelce Focuses on Super Bowl and Skips Grammys
Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has confirmed that he will not be attending the Grammys where Taylor Swift is nominated for six awards. In an interview, Kelce expressed his support for Swift and her nominations but mentioned that he had to prioritize the Super Bowl.
Kelce explained during an interview on The Pat McAfee Show that he would love to go support Taylor at the Grammys and see her win every award she's nominated for. However, due to the practice schedule with his football team, he won't be able to make it to Los Angeles, where the music award show is being held on Sunday.
The Chiefs are heading to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl on February 11th, where they will be facing off against the San Francisco 49ers. Kelce's commitment to his practice schedule prevents him from traveling to the Grammys. He mentioned that he needs to prepare for the big game and cannot afford any distractions.
Kelce and Swift's Supportive Relationship
Throughout the NFL regular season and post-season, Taylor Swift has been a dedicated supporter of Travis Kelce. She has cheered on the player from the stands, and their relationship has gained extra attention. However, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has praised the way Kelce and Swift have handled the situation.
Reid mentioned in an interview on the Let's Go! podcast that Swift has been great and there have been no distractions caused by their relationship. He commended Kelce for handling the attention well and stated that there have been no problems within the team. Both Kelce and Swift have been able to focus on their respective roles without any issues.
