A Month in the Making

Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has finally revealed when his love story with Taylor Swift began. According to him, the two had already been getting to know each other for close to a month before Swift attended his game against the Chicago Bears on September 24, 2023.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce shared that he had invited Swift to see him play, stating that he had 'thrown the ball in her court' three days before she attended the game. He clarified that it wasn't an impromptu invitation, as he had known she would go see him play even before making the statement on the show.

Enjoying the Ride

Kelce expressed his joy at having Swift's support at his games, revealing that she has attended 12 of them since their initial meeting. He shared his appreciation for having her there with him, his family, and friends, calling it a 'wonderful year'. While he acknowledges that the attention their relationship brings is new and unexpected, he is enjoying the experience and the majority of the world seems to be having fun with it as well, except for 'the cranky NFL fans that just don't want to see the Chiefs win'.

The rumors about a potential romance between Kelce and Swift started after he attended the singer's Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium. Kelce even attempted to give her his phone number by creating a personalized friendship bracelet. However, he didn't have the opportunity to present it to her due to her busy schedule.

Shared Work Ethic

Kelce admires Swift's work ethic, which is something they have in common. In an interview, he mentioned that he won't be able to attend the Grammy Awards to support Swift because he has practice on the same day. He expressed his desire to be there and watch her win every award she is nominated for.

As Kelce and the Chiefs prepare to take on the San Francisco 49ers, Swift will be at the Grammy Awards, where she is nominated for six awards. Despite their busy schedules, the couple continues to support each other in their respective endeavors.
