Parvati Shallow, a contestant on the reality TV show Survivor, has shared that she is currently in a relationship with comedian Mae Martin. She made the announcement on social media, posting a photo booth strip of the couple and captioning it with 'We're here. We're queer. Happy new year.'
Martin, who is the creator and star of the series Feel Good, identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They also expressed their happiness about the relationship by reposting Parvati's post on their Instagram Story, along with a teary-eyed emoji and a red heart emoji.
In another post, Martin shared a short clip of them and Parvati riding a beachside Ferris wheel, with Parvati winking at the camera. The couple's announcement was met with excitement and support from fellow LGBTQ+ celebrities and friends.
Parvati's Previous Relationship
Before her relationship with Mae Martin, Parvati Shallow was married to her fellow Survivor contestant John Fincher. They started dating in 2014 and got engaged in January 2017. However, after four years of marriage, Parvati filed for divorce in August 2021 due to irreconcilable differences.
Parvati and John have a daughter named Ama, who was born in 2018. Despite their separation, they continue to co-parent their child. Parvati's announcement of her new relationship comes just before her return to TV with the second season of The Traitors, set to premiere on January 12, 2024.

Parvati Shallow rose to fame as a contestant on the reality TV show Survivor. She first appeared on Survivor: Cook Islands and later went on to win Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites in 2008. She also placed second on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains in 2010 and competed on Survivor: Winners at War in 2020.
