Lewis Tan's Encounter

Hardwicke also mentioned her recent encounter with actor Lewis Tan, who revealed that he had auditioned for the role of Jacob Black in the original film.

According to Hardwicke, landing the role would have been life-changing for anyone, highlighting the significance of the character.

While Taylor Lautner played Jacob in the original series, Tan expressed his interest in the role during his conversation with Hardwicke.
