Hatton Battles Physical Challenges

Tyrrell Hatton admits to not being in peak physical condition after the holidays, but that didn't stop him from shooting a 62 in the second round of The Sentry.

Despite feeling less than great physically and not performing at his best from tee to green, Hatton had a remarkable day on the greens, sinking nearly every putt he looked at. Despite his physical challenges, Hatton hopes to continue his impressive performance over the weekend.

Travel Troubles for Hatton

After a holiday break that involved minimal practice, Hatton faced travel troubles en route to Kapalua. It took him over 25 hours to arrive in Maui after leaving his home in London. Despite the long journey, Hatton still managed to perform well in the second round.

His determination and skills paid off as Hatton currently sits at 15-under par and is only one shot behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler. Hatton's performance on the greens, including a nearly 100-foot eagle putt, has been exceptional.

Hatton's Impressive Round

During his second round, Hatton demonstrated his putting prowess by sinking three of his four attempts from 10-15 feet and missing only one putt inside 10 feet. He made six birdies and an eagle on the back nine, shooting an impressive 7-under 30 to close his round.

Despite not taking the best care of himself during the holiday season and feeling physically off, Hatton's incredible score of 62 was unexpected. It just goes to show how unpredictable and unpredictable the game of golf can be.
