Ugo Humbert reaches the Open 13 Provence final

Frenchman Ugo Humbert earned his seventh consecutive win on indoor hard courts on Saturday by defeating top-seeded Pole and defending champion Hubert Hurkacz 6-4, 6-4. This victory has secured him a spot in the final of the Open 13 Provence tournament. Humbert had previously won the title indoors in Metz last season and has continued to display impressive form on the surface this week on home soil in Marseille. This will be Humbert's fifth tour-level final.

Throughout the match, Humbert served well, winning 80% of his first-serve points and saving all three break points he faced. This win is particularly significant for Humbert, as it marks his first victory against Hurkacz in their four previous encounters. The 25-year-old will now face either Grigor Dimitrov or Karen Khachanov in the final on Sunday. Humbert currently holds the No. 19 position in the Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings and could climb to No. 18 if he wins the tournament.
