USC launches School of Advanced Computing

Gaurav Sukhatme appointed inaugural director of USC School of Advanced Computing

Gaurav Sukhatme, a professor of computer science and electrical and computer engineering, and executive vice dean of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, has been appointed as the inaugural director of the USC School of Advanced Computing. Sukhatme is respected for his work on the cutting edge of technology and computing, making him the ideal choice to lead this new and innovative school.

The School of Advanced Computing, a unit of USC Viterbi, will serve as the hub for advanced computing research and education at USC, bringing together professionals from various fields to tackle societal issues using advanced computing technology.
