The 11-track album, produced by Ace and Steve Brown, was released on February 23rd. It features a blend of heavy distortion, catchy hooks, and celestial solos that showcase Ace's signature style. One of the standout tracks is 'Walkin' On The Moon', which recently received a music video release.

In an interview, Ace expressed his satisfaction with the album, stating that there is no filler and every song has merit. He even went so far as to compare it to his acclaimed 1978 solo album, claiming that '10,000 Volts' is equally as good and has more than one potential hit single.

Collaboration with Steve Brown

Ace also discussed his collaboration with Steve Brown, who co-wrote and produced the album. The two musicians found a creative synergy, with their musical ideas seamlessly coming together. Ace praised Steve's songwriting and guitar skills, stating that their collaboration has made a significant difference in his playing and writing.

Track Listing and Influences

The track listing for '10,000 Volts' includes eleven original songs, with one cover of the song 'Life Of A Stranger'. Ace cited various influences for the album, including European pop music. He mentioned that when he first heard 'Life Of A Stranger', he was captivated by its melody and lyrics, and decided to give it a heavy rock treatment with the help of Steve.

Ace's previous album, 'Spaceman', was released in 2018 and featured covers of influential songs from bands like The Beatles, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin. '10,000 Volts' marks a return to all-original material.
