Taylor Swift's Wins and Surprising Announcement

Taylor Swift won album of the year at the 2024 Grammy Awards for her album 'Midnights.' This marked her fourth win in this category, making her the artist with the most wins in album of the year.

In addition to album of the year, Taylor Swift also won best pop vocal album for 'Midnights.' During her acceptance speech, she surprised the audience by announcing that she would be releasing her next album, 'The Tortured Poets Department,' on April 19.

SZA's Multiple Wins at the Grammy Awards

SZA received the most nominations of any artist at the 2024 Grammy Awards with a total of nine. She was nominated for categories such as album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year.

Although SZA had previously received 15 Grammy nominations, her sole win before this year was for best pop duo/group performance in 2022. However, she quickly added to her collection this year with wins including best R&B song.

Other highlights include Joni Mitchell winning her 10th Grammy for best folk album, Killer Mike winning three awards and later being escorted out in handcuffs by police, and the film 'Barbie' winning several awards in the visual media categories.
