AM Racing has announced that Joe Williams Jr. will be serving as crew chief for Hailie Deegan's rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Williams brings experience and success to the team

Joe Williams Jr. has been chosen as the crew chief for Hailie Deegan's debut season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Williams previously worked with AM Racing and driver Brett Moffitt in the 2023 season, where they achieved one top-five and nine top-ten finishes. They ended the season in 15th place overall.

Williams also has prior experience with SS GreenLight Racing, where he won at Auto Club Speedway in 2022 with Cole Custer as the driver. With his track record of success, Williams is looking forward to leading AM Racing in the Xfinity Series.

As the daughter of Brian Deegan, a renowned freestyle motocross rider, Hailie Deegan has racing in her blood. She will be driving the No. 15 Ford Mustang for AM Racing in the upcoming season.
