The Mariners got off to a strong start in the top of the 1st inning. Mitch Garver hit a 3-run homer, bringing in Dylan Moore and Ryan Bliss. Dominic Canzone followed up with a solo home run, extending the Mariners' lead to 2-0.
Bottom 1st Inning
In the bottom of the 1st inning, the Giants responded with a big inning of their own. Patrick Bailey hit a grand slam, driving in Thairo Estrada, LaMonte Wade Jr., and Wilmer Flores. The Giants took a 5-2 lead.
Top 2nd Inning
The Mariners fought back in the top of the 2nd inning. They scored 3 runs, including a 2-run single by Ryan Bliss. The game was now tied at 5-5.
Top 3rd Inning
The Mariners continued their offensive onslaught in the top of the 3rd inning. Dominic Canzone hit a 2-run homer, giving the Mariners a 7-5 lead.
