Fiery Crash at Daytona

In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, during the Fresh From Florida 250 race at Daytona International Speedway, a 12-truck crash took place that caused Taylor Gray's Toyota to go airborne and catch fire.

The incident happened during an overtime lap when Rajah Caruth collided with Jack Wood, causing Wood's truck to hit Gray's and send it crashing into the wall. Wood spun out toward the infield as a result.

While Gray's truck was facing the wrong way, he was then struck head-on by Daniel Dye, which caused Gray's truck to roll over in midair. Several other trucks were also involved in the wreck.

The Aftermath and Winner

In the aftermath of the wreck, Gray managed to land his truck, hitting several other trucks on the way down. A ball of fire trailed behind Dye's truck, while sparks flew as other trucks tried to avoid the wreckage.

The crash resulted in the 12th caution of the race, and Nick Sanchez emerged as the victor during the caution period.

Gray, although stating he was "fine," expressed anger about the incident.

Reactions and Race Details

Rajah Caruth, involved in the crash, described the chaotic last lap and expressed his concern for the damaged trucks and the well-being of Taylor Gray. He hoped for a better start to the year.

Gray analyzed the replay of the crash and questioned Caruth's actions, stating that there was no hole to get in. He mentioned the collision between Caruth and the No. 91 truck, expressing confusion about Caruth's intentions.

The Fresh From Florida 250 race saw a total of 51 of the 101 laps run under caution. The initial wreck involved 13 trucks. The upcoming Daytona 500 is scheduled to take place on Sunday.
