Jalen Johnson's Potential Return

According to sources, Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson is expected to make his comeback after being sidelined for a month due to a left wrist injury. There is optimism that he could return as early as Tuesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls.

Johnson had been having a breakout season for the Hawks before his injury, averaging career highs in points, rebounds, and assists. In 15 games, he was contributing 14.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. Recently, he has been cleared for a full contact return to practice, signaling that his recovery is progressing well.

The Hawks have struggled without Johnson, going 4-9 during his absence. Their defensive efficiency has also suffered, as they currently rank 29th in the league. With a record of 12-16, the Hawks are currently in 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings.
