Tyrese Haliburton Suffers Hamstring Strain

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton had to be carried off the court by his teammates on Monday after slipping on the court against the Boston Celtics. He was officially ruled out for the remainder of the game with a left hamstring strain.

Haliburton was unable to put any weight on his leg and was taken straight to the locker room with a towel over his head. He will undergo an MRI on Tuesday to assess the severity of the injury, according to head coach Rick Carlisle.

Haliburton's Injured Leg Gives Out

Late in the second quarter, Haliburton was driving to the basket against Derrick White when his right leg gave out, causing him to fall in an awkward position. He immediately grabbed for the back of his left leg, indicating that he was in pain.

The Pacers went on to win the game without Haliburton, but head coach Rick Carlisle described the moment as "very deflating." The team is hoping for a positive prognosis for Haliburton's injury.

Uncertainty Surrounds Haliburton's Return

It's still too early to determine how long Haliburton will be sidelined due to his hamstring strain. Any absence would be a blow to the Pacers, as Haliburton has been instrumental to their success.

Haliburton is currently having a breakout season, leading the Pacers in points and assists. He was also a top vote-getter in the fan voting for the All-Star Game. The Pacers' offense has been thriving under Haliburton's leadership, and they currently have one of the best offensive ratings in NBA history.
